Frequently Asked Questions

How can I schedule an appointment?

Most of our booking is done online through this link.

If you need further asistance, you can view this guide on how to schedule your first appointment or give us a call and we will be happy to help!

I booked my first appointment, now what?

Congratulations on taking this first step in managing your health!

Step 1: expect an email from us shortly with directions on how to set up your online patient portal. This online portal is where you will fill out intake forms, schedule follow-up visits and have access to important documents such as your individualized rehab program.

Healthcare records at Resolve Chiropractic are 100% electronic and HIPAA compliant; therefore, you must create an account with our electronic healthcare system.

Step 2: Within your patient portal you will have access to the "New Chiro Patient Intake Forms". Please complete these prior to your first visit. If you have any questions regarding the forms, please reach out to us using the form on the right side of this page.

What can I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit will consist of a detailed health history as well as a neurological and orthopedic evaluation. Following the exam, one of our doctors will explain the diagnosis to you as well as the proposed treatment plan or if any further examinations (such as imaging) must take place. This is a great time for you to ask questions and really understand what is going on!

Once all of your questions are answered, treatment will begin. For a full list of the treatments we offer, click HERE.

We will then walk you through an individualized rehab program so that you will have the tools you need to begin taking an active approach in managing your condition. This program will be uploaded to your online patient portal for you to access.

Please Note: While most patients receive treatment on their first visit, certain conditions require a more thorough examination to reach a diagnosis and therefore treatment might be postponed until an accurate diagnosis is made.

How long will my visits take?

Initial visits take between 45 minutes to 1 hour

Follow-up visits take 30 minutes

What should I wear to my appointment?

Much of our treatment invlolves movement so we recommend our patients wear comfortable athletic attire.

Do you accept walk-in patients?

We do not accept walk-in patients at this time but same-day booking is availible online. New patients must book an appointment and complete their intake form online prior to their initial visit.

Returning patients will have the ability to book appointments at their leisure using our online Patient Portal. Same-day booking is available.

Do you accept insurance?

We do! As of right now, we accept most HMO and PPO insurance plans. We also accept Kaiser Medi-Cal patients ages 6-21. To see if we accept your insurance, please fill out this form and a member of our team will get back to you shortly.

Do you offer student discounts?

Yes we do! Give us a call or contact us through the form to the right of this page to find out more.

Is chiropractic treatment safe?

Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. The risks associated with chiropractic, however, are very small. Many patients feel immediate relief following chiropractic treatment, but some may experience mild soreness, stiffness or aching, just as they do after some forms of exercise. Current research shows that minor discomfort or soreness following spinal manipulation typically fades within 24 hours.
